When at high school, when I was 15 years old, I thought BBC was always telling the truth, so I often got the world news from them through my short-wave radio. I thought BBC was a window to the world, I also trusted VOA (voice of America) and CNN.
But now, I have to change my opinion to them, BBC and VOA can distort the truth too, especially for those events which happened in China. Now, I don’t know which media I can trust? As we know, recently ,something happened in Tibet China, because Chinese media always hide the truth first, so we don’t know what happened, and of course we would switch to western news media, BBC or VOA or CNN will be the choice, and now, some friends found that these news media were lying, BBC was distorting the truth, when police was saving somebody, it is incredible that BBC said they were beating somebody, BBC and CNN are evil.
